St. Andrew's and St. Cyprian's
Sunday School
for our young people is held at 10:00 AM in the upstairs of the church office
("the Old Rectory). We currently have two classes: primary to 5th Grade
and Middle School to High School. The curriculum is "Weaving God's
Promises." Sunday School for adults is held at 10:15 in the Parish House
and focuses on the Scripture that is being read in Church on that Sunday.
One of several parishioners is assigned as discussion leader each Sunday, and a
lively discussion can be counted on. For more information about Sunday
School, please contact the Rector
The Program for Youth
is a developing one. During the
summer of 2007 our youth participated in
God’s Good Creation, a bi-weekly series of outings to share fellowship and
gain an appreciation for God’s wonderful creation, especially as manifested in
the natural wonders of McIntosh County.
It is our plan to have a similar program in the summer of 2008 and to use
that as a springboard to a year round youth program.
Vacation Bible School
will be held in June for children from K to 5th grade.
This program is a joint venture with Darien United Methodist Church and
First Presbyterian Church.
Volunteers are always needed as 50
children participated in 2007. For
further information, please contact the church office 912 437-4562.
